New Health Sciences has just returned from the Spring 2016 meeting of the BEST Collaborative in Oxford England.  The Biochemical Excellence of Safer Transfusion Collaborative is a research organization that brings together leading scientists, clinicians, and manufacturers from across the globe to collaborate on improving transfusions through standardizing methods, developing new procedures, providing systematic reviews of scientific and clinical evidence and executing studies required to fill in knowledge gaps. BEST provides a rare opportunity for transfusion practitioners to work with manufacturers on issues important to patient care.  As an industry member of the Collaborative, New Health Sciences both supports and participates in the important work done by this organization.
